After your lease is signed and your move-in is scheduled, you’ll receive access to your resident portal. This is where rent payments, maintenance requests, and communication with our team all happen in one place. Setting it up early — and making your first payment through it — helps you get comfortable with the system before you need it under pressure. On move-in day, take your time walking through the home and documenting any pre-existing conditions you notice. You’ll have the opportunity to submit a move-in inspection report, and doing this thoroughly protects you at move-out. If something needs attention right away, submit a maintenance request through the portal rather than texting or calling — it creates a record and gets routed to the right person faster. If anything urgent comes up in those first few days, we’re reachable. For non-emergencies, the portal is always the fastest path. For genuine emergencies — things like water leaks or no heat in winter — contact us directly. We’re here to make sure your first week sets the right tone for the rest of your tenancy.
